Dont get me wrong, the album will for sure be one of his best but the standards are insanely high because of the 2020 leaks.

sound 42/need me, vital, lie to me, greece, not around and even the unfinished version of intoxicated are absolutely insane and just a randomly thrown together ep with those songs and some other leaks would be a great project. Those songs sound so unique and nothing like anything he released before, they already created a little cult following on their own and i’m definitely part of that following. With the lockdown and everything going on during that time these songs already bring such a special atmosphere and nostalgic feeling to the table, it was a weird ass time and thinking back on it those leaks were the greatest sound we could’ve asked for.

Of course hes going to be able to bring back the magic for the real album but a part of me wishes these songs never leaked, he didn’t release dldt and instead shocked the whole world with OG CLB including all those cuts + some more bangers that we’ve never heard before somwhere around that same quality. I feel like that would’ve been my favorite drake album. But it’s the same old story with drake, his unreleased s*** remains his best.

Really hope he finishes intoxicated. He should drop a deluxe with the leaks tbh. Would be a win win.

Greece, pop star, sound 42 - these don’t really do anything for me.

I like lie to me - but I’d be lying if I said it was especially different than most singy drake songs.

Of course clb will be different than scorpion and views, but it’ll be more like them than unlike them, imo.
