Real question cuz I actually love the album but I know how this is gonna sound:

Why tf is this album so successful with only one hit, no significant promo, and more Twitter hate than I’ve seen for any other artist in awhile??? Like I 100% know Twitter isn’t real life but the success to talk ratio is wild.

Tbh, I don't think anyone knows the answer because it doesn't make sense.
But this type of thing happens with Drake projects so often, it's just to be expected.

I remember when Take Care came out, I had already sat with the album for a while before I started seeing the online hate about him being soft and how people hate his singing.

Wasn't until I saw this video that I started thinking the online s*** was cap. I was shocked that he got this reaction.

Good question. Even though the album doesn't have any mega hits like Scorpion does, i think it does have a lot of minor hits which get constantly streamed. Like everyone has a different favorite song on CLB. Some f*** with Knife Talk, some with GLG and some with In the Bible
