I want someone to actually explain to me what makes ace trumpets trash or weak. and I mean people who listen to music louder than half volume in the background

The beat is honestly not good for Clipse standards but the raps are very on point great Malice verse

Honestly I really like the beat

I’ve seen some people who don’t like it because of the drum pattern, which is similar to the drums that Pharrell was using on most beats from 2019-2022 that was all over IAD, but it’s not the same and I think the rims sound good. And the synth is nasty.

It’s not as good as So Be It or Whips and Chains, but I still think it’s a really good beat.

It's thematic and the imagery around it is phenomenal. While I'm happy for my brother Malice, I still hear a bit of religious psychosis in his voice and overall the flow just too slow for me

I was probably the biggest skeptic of Malice coming into this but Ace Trumpets verse put me back on board

So Be It convinced me that Malice might be the best rapper of 2025 lol

So Be It Part 2 is on backend, so I can finally confirm that it is new beat we heard with same vox

I wasn’t the biggest fan of IAD save for a few standouts. I actually thought it was overrated by critics.

But I’ve loved everything I heard so far from the Clipse album.

I can't understand this decision. Hopefully we get some clarity why they made this decision.

I don't see why else they would do it, the new beat just isn't as good
