How does this compare to their first 2 albums? I’m waiting until friday
Its hard to tell early but I’m not feeling a huge gap so far. Feels like the proper third clipse album tbh
Apparently hov gets a new chain when he’s got a new verse on the way…👀
I remember Ab-Soul posing with Hov before the album drop
Had a mf really thinking Soul landed a Hov feature on his album that was abt to go triple cardboard
Idk why but this reminded me of that
Strongly disagree. It's better than IAD for sure. And a little better than DBD as well. Definitely better than Til the Casket & Wrath of Caine.
Darkest clears with ease. Darkest is quietly one of the best rap albums of the 2010s. That first five track run rivals Daytona

It's better than Daytona
Which tracks? Or did he succeed and we never ended up hearing them?
Iirc we Push never said which songs and managed to keep them on the album
I always guessed it was No Regrets, let me love you and 40 acres since they’re bunched up together and all don’t fit the album lowkey

Now this I agree with
Always felt like it got left out of convos because he dropped it so late in December
Closest push solo album comparable in quality is Daytona but this is better
Better than Daytona 👀 the feeling is even more restored

At this point I’m positive Hovs gonna be in so be it
I’ve never seen a whole album leak except for 1 song

That’s what I like to hear

It’s up there
Hard to compare considering this just leaked and those are timeless classics but I can already tell it’s gonna be my most played album of the year
It delivered in the same way that last Tribe album did

If Ye wanted to take off 40 acres he would have been an airhead way before he actually became one since it has one of Push’s best verses of his life

Idk why i never clicked with that album and nothing ever sticks for me musically
My least fav Push solo project ngl
Its still good tho, just never feel like revisiting it over any of his other albums

I love DBD so I ain't mad at that part of the opinion. But IAD over MNIMN is blasphemy.
I'ma spin KD3 tonight and see if I agree
KD2/KD3 is the greatest late career prime of any rapper ever imo (Black Thought too) the lyrical sharpness still being there, better production than a lot of his early stuff and most of all you can hear him still having fun in the booth and being hungry at that stage of his career
Kd2/3 are both must listens if you a Nas fan
rap is in a horrible place rn
Everybody block this troll
His fav artist is Ian

Magic 1 up there too.
