Nothing wrong with it all. Beat is great, both verses are great and the hook is smooth. Only iffy part is that Pharrell s*** at the end but it’s not nearly enough to ruin the song
is that really him at the end? def sounds like someone else just not credited

I thought it was him doing a weird voice but somebody else said it was the-dream
Sometimes you gotta remind yourself there were even brat detractors upon release and that album went on to be the greatest album of all time
I would not be comparing clipse to charli, or this album to brat, but for what it's worth brat took like 2 listens to open up. Deluxe, instant clossic
I'm a few in on this (and it's missing a few things from full release) but I'm not seeing the vision beyond making them more palatable
STILL WAITIJG TIL THURSDAY NIGHT BABY
Same. I downloaded the leak but decided to just wait
Mike Tyson blow to the face is insane lol
So glad this joint made it on the album, the beginning sounds like the ghost of Biggie
facts bro these nerds hyping up S***ter P
everyone knows Wayne ended him with Goulish back in the day
Pusha killed Wayne and Baby with Exodus
Their body of work/the singles. Think POV and MTBTTF are good, chains and whips pretty cool, everything else just sounds very safe
Inglorious B******s? Safe?
I was going into the album with this mindstate before any singles dropped (and even after ace trumpets tbh)
Because I didn’t really like use this gospel, their collab on Nigo’s album wasn’t super flashy, their song on IAD isn’t one of my favs. It seemed like okay this’ll be good for where they’re at and a nice moment but neither Pusha, malice or Pharrell are really operating at that high a level
But then so be it came out
And imo so be it, POV, fico, mike Tyson, by the grace of god, chains and whips… these guys all sound far above how I expected them too. There’s genuinely that spark of operating beyond ‘oh it’s cool this exists and I’m giving them the legacy act grace of not being THAT good’
I think for me it just doesn't really seem to be breaking new ground for them. Feels like retreading of mid 2010s ESPN commercial break music. Not that everyone has to follow a preordained path or anything but this just doesn't feel like it has the same hunger on it, clearly because they're legends in their own right now but it just feels like they're coasting to me idk. Not effortless, but coasting
Nothing harder than when that clap and bass drum kick in fr on we got it got for cheap
Perfect intro.
Ayeeee papa
Fear em as soon as u hear em..
I PHILOSOPHIZE ABOUT GLOCKS AND KEYS THEY CALL ME YOUNG BLACK SOCRATES
WEST INDIES B**** DROP TO KNEEES QUICK
Inglorious B******s? Safe?
Yes, one of the safer ones. NBA street homecourt soundtrack

Thinking the deluxe is superior to the standard

Listen bro, we’ll know how good this album really is once fantano ranks it
that’s the best kendrick feature since wats wrong
STILL WAITIJG TIL THURSDAY NIGHT BABY
lets support real music with real streams, they deserve it
This really is not good. Horribly disappointing. Nothing nowhere near as hard as so be it, AT ALL. Let alone any of their past work. I think every track on hell hath no fury individually is better than any song on here. Anybody praising this is just happy they released another album, but that's not reason enough to drop s*** like this. Guess that's what I get staying away from snippets
Pharrell blew it, especially singing all over it
Hell hath no fury is never leaving rotation
having heard mike tyson, chains & whips, birds don’t sing, so be it & ace trumpets idk how you can say this doesn’t hold a flame to any of their old s*** lol
so be it it easily one of their best songs period
also you shouldn’t be expecting part 2 of a 15 year old album at this point, pharrell is never gonna do the obvious
you guys get you're arguing with bitter drake stans masquerading as critical clipse fans right? i'm not even saying that to detract from critique, that's quite literally who these people you're arguing with are
why is kurrco posting tour ticket sales for clipse
That’s actually wild I just saw it. That account is definitely owned by a rival label or some s***. They posted about the leak yesterday too
Listen bro, we’ll know how good this album really is once fantano ranks it

So be it is fantastic, I said that, I guess I gotta wait to see on Friday if so be it part 2 is so be it with new verses or an entirely different joint
Also never said they should make "part 2" nor would I even necessarily want that name arbitrarily attached to something new just because, I just simply don't think this is as hard

Hell hath no fury is better than any album drake has ever released in his career, by leaps and bounds
Also corny of you to assume that anything critiquing pusha inherently means drake stan, you're no better
