Mac was one of the last true students of the craft that we got
Bro cared about rap genuinely
most genuine white rapper possibly ever
he's nearly 40 so idk if he's gonna be on that energy forever but I agree DAMN was deeper than GNX
Yeah I'm not saying he's not going to make deep s*** because every album he gives a perfect balance, but I don't see him making albums that are centered around him digging into himself and his psyche as a person anymore that's all he did from GKMC until Morale
But I could be wrong
DAMN is probably my most played Kendrick album, the album is a lot better than most people consider it imho
Its not one of my favorites but I'm also in the camp of people who think he doesn't have a bad album and every album of his has offered something distinctive to appreciate about it
Every time i listen to ace trumpets i think of mia khalifa rapping it in the car
she actually seems like a cool person
Need another Funk/Jazz album from Kendrick before it’s all said and done
Hopefully Charlamagne is at the breakfast club tomorrow
Need them straight to face questions
This dude got inside info? I know he was running around with Rory a while back
Was this the dude who said Kendrick was gonna perform Meet the Grahams at the pop out or was that someone else?
Idk out any of that lol but he’s on that Apple music show with nadeska and Ebro and clipse def got a promo deal with Apple
most genuine white rapper possibly ever
And the fanbase he brought was non-toxic. Em brought a bunch of degenerates
most genuine white rapper possibly ever
Get sad everyday knowing we would have got him at the pop out
most genuine white rapper possibly ever
EVER
mr morale is a better album than damn but i guess people are not ready to have this convo yet
Can't agree with this one. I like the deeper darker tracks (Mother I Sober, Worldwide Steppers, Crown) on Morale but none of the more accessible banger style tracks do anything for me honestly.
Mobb deep only has 1 classic
The G-Unit album was a classic and idc what nobody says.
It was only hated cause 50 Cent was the most hated at that time and the most commercial.

I agree but different people are gonna like different things
Nobody here is necessarily right or wrong
mostly

Yeah the first G unit album is still f***ing amazing to this day
What makes you put it over GKMC?
I just like it more tbh
I think GKMC he was still following the traditions of what a great rap album is (doing a great job tbh) but DAMN. was more of dot being comfortable in his own style
Aside from his performance in the beef I also think DAMN. was his best rapping ever in terms of bars, vocal inflections, and flows
I dont think DAMN. clears GKMC or anything crazy like that tho

assuming he's still making music when he's an uncle grandpa then we need that grappling with mortality album
