Father time will always be a classic Kendrick song to me
Daddy issues, hid my emotions, never expressed myself
Men should never show feelings, being sensitive never helped
His momma died, I asked him why he going back to work so soon?
His first reply was, "Son, that's life, and bills got no silver spoon"
Daddy issues, hid my emotions, never expressed myself
Men should never show feelings, being sensitive never helped

God level rap
I'm not really tapped into the leaks outside of Prayer which is amazing
the leaks in the morale era are by far some of the best leaks a rapper has had, insane.

Immaculate
They would've s*** on it more then they did when it dropped
as soon as United in Grief piano came out I couldn't help thinking a certain group are gonna S*** on this
kinda wish he still went all the way though

crazy how this song has a crazy message and doesnt sound preachy or cringey

I will have to check them out
“I don’t think people make this type of music anymore”
Line is so terrible and the rest of the song is so hard my brain glitches when I listen to it

kinda wish he still went all the way though
I understand why he didn't though
The album was already so heavy content wise that not having some breathers here and there would've been too much for some people.
Daddy issues, f*** everybody, go get your money, son
Protect yourself, trust nobody, only your momma'n'em
This made relationships seem cloudy, never attached to none
So if you took some likings around me, I might reject the love
Last 2 lines hit me personally so deep I thought this dude was really dissing me.
Is United in Gried underrated gang
I love that track
Its not underrated, its blowing up on Tik Tok rn
Its the 2nd best song on the album to me after Count Me Out

Hard line hard song
Is United in Gried underrated gang
I love that track
it's in my top 5 kendrick
maybe top 3
Line is so terrible and the rest of the song is so hard my brain glitches when I listen to it
It’s so bad that it’s so good
It’s what bleached tee shirt line could’ve been
Malice so tough but Pusha is too, Malice verses just hit a lil harder to me cause its really been a minute since he been on the scene
bro dont seem rusty at all, not even the slightest
To me GNX is lowkey better with damn.
Kendrick deadass got better as a rapper, the lines hit harder, and the pop songs are WAY better written (Luthers centuries ahead of Loyalty etc..)
I have rose tinted glasses so I’m not ready to put anything over GKMC or TPAB tho
The pop songs are better, and so are the interludes which are so well done and felt like an improvement on DAMN. I see where you’re coming from with that
But the problem is, the rap songs are worse. Let’s start at the end Heart pt 6 and Gloria is nothing compared to Fear and Duckworth as the rap songs to end the albums. Man At The Garden is very similar to Feel but I don’t think it’s better. Reincarnated is really the only one i think is on the level of DAMN rap rap songs
He definitely improved on the execution in a lot of ways but I feel like the heart of the album just isn’t nearly as substantial as DAMN. I respect what Kendrick shared as far as thoughts and emotions on the album but the concepts weren’t really as original as usual outside of Reincarnated
Squabble Up not even better than DNA either to me. Element>TV Off. the “I DID THAAAAAAt” lowkey annoying

2nd best kendrick album intro
crazy how this song has a crazy message and doesnt sound preachy or cringey
I feel like its due to the fact that hes also not screaming "I hate my father" even though hes being critical at some points, he's kinda tackling this like a true adult showing all sides of it.
But he just handles this topic so well and with alot of respect like.
"And to my partners that figured it out without a father
I salute you, may your blessings be neutral to your toddlers
It's crucial, they can't stop us if we see the mistakes
'Til then, let's give the women a break, grown men with daddy issues"
This s*** is actually beautiful
