maneraA lot of people love Alphonse Pierre on this site but man I have NEVER seen him review a remotely mainstream rap record with any sort of glowing praise. It's always "this is pretty good" but nothing more than that. Kind of a weird guy... I don't really love the way he critiques stuff either... feels kinda pretentious and above it all lol
Pitchfork's bread and butter was clever alt rock contrarianism but now that that whole scene is gone the void is filled by... whatever the f*** they do now
