So it’s just an unlistenable terrible song just cause the beat isn’t the same? You’re being dramatic lmao
Nah I actually feel him on this one
They definitely should’ve just removed it

Nah bro it sucks tbh lol
I was open minded about it too but they shoulda left it off or made a better beat
Nah I feel you granted I only heard it on an IG post and it just sounded mid cause I’m used to the first beat being cinematic. I hope it does make its way to the album somehow

Ok wtf is going on
Alphonse's writing cracks me up

This is what happens when your publication has a single, resident "rap guy" and his only exposure to the genre is twitter. This is the writing of a man whom literally nobody checks.

His flow on this entire s*** can only be described as “hungry”
And I get it, but I just don't think that's the kind of writer you put on these kind of albums. These are blockbuster releases that people really care about --- he prefers to heap praise on s***ty unfinished demos coming outta the bubbling underground scene in Akron, Ohio.
Nothing wrong with that... but if I'm an editor for a publication that critiques movies, I'm not personally putting my guy who specializes in indie eastern european dramas on the new Fantastic Four movie... ya feel me? He's gonna complain the whole f***ing time
That's your decision though, they value Alphonse's view on hip hop clearly, and the fact people actually bother to talk about his reviews is part of keeping Pitchfork running, which is their actual goal not anything truly altruistic or for the betterment of "culture"
