For sure I think this rollout was super fun, and the fact that all the hype/talking was so ubiquitous within the culture shows that not everything needs to be a surprise drop with >3 days notice

Sometimes the traditional method of interviews, singles, videos etc can still work. And in this case it worked beautifully, I couldn't wait for midnight to come man! And I prob would've felt that way regardless but it helped a lot, felt like a big thing everybody was in on

Even that one doesn't feel culturally appropriate tbh, I've never considered using a fan-made alt cover in all of my music listening life until now
