This is different than what you typically chalk up to just “bundles”. This is a legacy group dropping their first album in 20 years and doing everything they can to feed the fans who have been waiting for this moment. The album was also great. I pass them no judgement for releasing physicals because the product and execution lives up to the price to own a piece of it

"bundles" don't even really exist anymore idk why anybody dunks of them. Selling a shirt with a physical copy is fine, like 5 years ago artists were selling $3 air fresheners with the album to boost those numbers lol

I agree that was a good rule change. Need to do something about these partial releases next or at least make them not count as a full sale re: JB2

Yah I think it was Hadji but I saw somebody say they should make a rule that like 85% of the final release should be on the physical for it to count (to make up for sample issues or adding a last minute verse or feature)

I do think that will get fixed soon. I kinda wish we never combined streams and sales and just judged them separately but it's way too late to fix that lol
