Late here. But went to weekend 1 and they are absolutely cooked. Sad to see. Of course the production is out of this world as usual but that will not change the fact that the crowd has become insufferable due to the headliners they are booking.

Now they are going to do Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo next year I'm hearing? It's a wrap mate

The Conde Nast-ification of the music industry continues!

I wouldn't say quite as strong lmao they didn't even sell out W2 this year.

This was my 9th Coachella sucks to see what's happening honestly. I either attend or work others yearly and yet to see any lose their magic quite as much as Coachella. To be fair that bar was extremely high.

wk2 was more packed than wk1 regardless of what they say about ticket sales. ive been attending since 2007 and 2024 was just as great as any other year imo

I will say the crowd has always been better (not in numbers but vibes) at W2, have gone W1 past couple of years that must be a major part.

Still hate the pop direction they are going with the headliners (one is fine but we don't need it for 2/all three)

And the Hip-Hop bookings this year were atrocious

Pop has always been my favorite genre so it is just the fest getting better imo. Plus I don't see it as them sacrificing the acts that used to headline when they still get Blur/No Doubt type acts on the main stage every year. It's just bigger.
