Also rubbed me the wrong way that this was originally Ye's idea for 2019 Coachella that fell through.

Yeah he wanted to be in the middle of the field with the crowd surrounding him on all sides. The plan fell through and they replaced him with Ariana Grande.

They negotiated a compromise and it ended up being the hill they built in the campground where he did Sunday Service that same year.

How horrible did the band sound during Future Sounds live? Were people talking about it

Honestly a lot of the set didn't translate well where I was. Half the crowd was moshing the whole time, Half of them didn't know to look at the stage or back where he was. The fat conductor was right in front of me when I was trying to look at Trav. Half the time there would be such thick theatrical smoke I couldn't even see right in front of me. It just didn't work from where I was. The band sounded terrible imo.

I'll try to catch it from a better spot next weekend I guess

I liked the setlist and it seemed like fun but the band was worse than listening to warm ups before my conductor hit the stand
