All that should be expected of a musician when they’re performing live is that they’re actually performing live. The choreography, dancing, stage design, etc. stuff is all great but it’s all bells & whistles. They’re musicians, the number one priority in a live performance is the music.

And people really only hold that expectation to popstars. Nobody expects Bon Iver or Dijon to start doing a full dance breakdown in the middle of their sets lmao
