man this is where it all started for me. remember forcing everyone around me to listen to this s*** telling them this dude bout to be a star trust me..

I remember wanting to rap over goapele closer beat and wanted to see what I was up against so I searched for closer remixes on YouTube and came across the video for drake closer. immediately recognized him as the dude from degrassi show that my lil sister used to watch all the time. Went in expecting some trash and left a stan. Didn’t even wanna write to closer beat anymore after I heard drakes version lol.
