    safe

That’s clearly what he’s talking about though
The way superhero’s are presented in the mainstream rn are movies

People don’t buy comic books like that

Comics still exist and people still read them

    he should've been more specific.

I understood it yet it seems you couldn't read his tweet

no u didn’t because u would know i meant black panther was only two years ago in saying that was the last BLACK superhero movie to release at all in theaters and he should give it more time before complaining about the lack of them if what safe was saying was true

  • Aug 22, 2020

    F*** M2, all my homies hate M2.

  • Lol Cudi should just take the L gracefully

  • cudi has a point in the sense of none of the ppl that tweet mentioned are superstars in the superhero game you know

like spider man yeah but that's not a fair point

  • Aug 22, 2020

Cudi took a L with the tweet, but hey no need to throw him under the bus lmaoo

once again his tweet has an issue with the fact the only big black cinematic superhero literally has the word "black" in their name. He isnt complaining about the pure lack of them but the fact that they literally have black in their names

Tell me why it’s a dumb take

There have been 23 MCU movies in the last decade and however many DC movies and there’s what one Black lead??
    You don’t think that’s a valid criticism?

The original blade came out 22 years ago. The fact that it was so successful only makes this criticism more valid because of it was so successful why the f*** haven’t there been more Black lead superhero films

    Dawg

Do you have a time machine go back and to stop Cap, Iron man, and Thor from being white? Me neither.

Tf can you do about it? Not to mention there wasn't many superhero movies poppin until Spiderman

    What? Lmao
He’s literally just asking for more Black representation in superhero’s
You seem willing to admit it’s a pretty white genre so why is that an issue

But when some of those characters they listed race originally changed those same fans were talking about “why can’t they make new hero’s for black people instead of messing with continuity”

    Assuming he meant

“Can we get a black superhero Movie that doesn't have 'Black' in their name? That would be cool.”

it’s a dumb complaint seeing how there’s only one and it just released not long ago at all in movie time .

this was my point still standa

The nigga literally asked "Can we get superheroes without the word Black", and then everybody flooded him and proved him wrong.

The whole representation thing is another issue that can be blamed on most of these superheroes being made in the 40s-50s.

But that has nothing to do with what he asked. Don't make his tweet bigger than what it is.

They flooded him with proof of Black characters existing in comic books bro
My point is that he was almost definitely talking about comic book movies since that’s by far the most popular representation of these characters in the mainstream

My point is that people are finding issue with how he worded the tweet instead of addressing the actual representation issue that he raised

Sounds like you know how to quote things, but not how to read. Once again that movie's titular character has the word black in their name. Have a good one c***
