Why the f*** is Rick Ross in this doing a bad accent

The ending was over the top with the fan service. But yeah I thought this was cool for the most part. Wasn't that funny but I was entertained and had a smile on my face during so there's that. Completely unnecessary and nowhere near as good but good enough to not be an embarrassment

The problem with remaking classics, CTA2 in this instance, is that the writers are forcing the humor. The thing that made the first one so special were the one liners (“That ain’t nothin but ultra perm...dem boys good...Hey Stu, your rents due...soon I’ll be working the grill...stop stalling fat boy...”). It wasn’t over the top.
Today, the writers are actively trying to make funny moments instead of letting them happen organically. When that happens, you have contrived humor which is never a good thing.
I haven’t even seen the new movie yet, but just from the trailers/pictures, I could tell that it had a completely different tone from the original.
Stop forcing it!

Obviously not comparable to the original, but still wild and had a good balance of fresh characters/story and callbacks to the first film. Not great but I had a good time

The first was a movie, this was a stupid cartoon. 5 minutes is spent in America, new main character is awful, any attempt at heartfelt stuff is terrible, endless filler musical stuff, hated it overall
