The government has levied every tax and trick against black people from the "inception" of this country. The state have been used aystematically to keep us in a subservient position and that has had lasting effects.
I'm tired of seeing OP posting this type of stuff and not address the trickle down effects, that slavery, Jim Crowe and the lack of black history taught jn schools,, etc have on why we distrust government programs and the state itself.
