    common, budden and more are right.

    -tpab is classic as we all know
    -gkmc is classic as we all know
    -damn is classic as we all know, also the 2nd highest rated rap album ever after TPAB, and the first hip hop album that got a pulitzer
    -s80 is being revisited as a classic

    now the real question is like budden & brother ali said, can kendrick become the very first hip hop artist to make 5 classics?

    I love Common,but he was off the mark here Gkmc and maybe Damn are classics.

    Common is correct. You can put all of kendrick albums next to illmatic, they're in the exact same category...only difference is kendrick got 4 illmatic albums. Why is kendrick so talented...4 classics, only kendrick has done that (like real classics from an objective angle...not personal & subjective classics). That's f***ing impressive

    He could retire today and still be the guy that dropped the best album in hip hop history (TPAB)
