mangotfluIt's not meaningless tho, some artists are just in that category where they'll sell huge tours just off the strength of their old music. But whenever they drop new music people don't care as much as they used to. U2 is the best example of that. Then Ed Sheeran is slowly becoming that & Coldplay arguably became it a few years ago too
Music of the Spheres debutted at #4 on Billboard in the US with like 55k units meanwhile they sell out stadiums for fun in the US... that makes them a legacy act to me at least
Their shows sell like 80k tickets meanwhile their latest album sold less units than that lol, s*** is off
They are way bigger outside the US, not even close. The US might be one of their weakest markets. They only have 4 #1 albums and 5 songs charting in the top 10 in the US in over 20 years.

2023 was the biggest year of Taylor's career... I wonder if she will keep the momentum in 2024
She will be dropping two more albums next year 💀 but these re-releases, Self-titled and Reputation, are less relevant compared to the previous ones like 1989 and Red
And she will be touring Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America again
I think 2024 will be a continuation of 2023 but slightly less big

In my country, the wrappeds I've seen from women are like 4 local artists and 1 of Taylor. She's huge among women post 2021 for some reason.
