magnoliasIf we wanna talk basketball, here’s how I would rank the three best rappers of 2015:
1. Kendrick - Relatively quiet regular season, turned up in the playoffs and carried his team to a championship victory (Jimmy Butler-esque, but they actually win)
2. Drake - MVP of the regular season, extremely dominant playoff run, but gets to the Finals and loses in heartbreaking fashion to a better team, but still overall one of his best seasons (LeBron in any of his Finals losses years)
3. Future - Second place finish in the MVP race, strong playoff run, but loses in the Conference Finals to a better team (KD in 2016)

Smacked VoodooNothing crazy about this and it makes sense. I think sensible people already understand and agree that Drake has been the biggest artist out of the three commercially for the 2010s. This isn't a hot take.

At the end of the day, people are going to f*** with who resonates with them more and things like sales and critical acclaim can't change that.
I've tried putting my pops onto Wayne and he still thinks Wayne is "trash" even after I played his most lyrical songs.
Niggas who f*** with Drake, Kendrick, or Cole more than the other don't need "stats" to be convinced that they're wrong or right.

people really don't remember that before this run, which included 2014's Monster, Future was considered to be on his way out of the rap game. He was known as a feature artist and flavor of this month. His butthurt over Ciara leaving him and Honest flopping gave us this legendary run, and the rest is history.

2015 future was the best rapper alive and went on one of the best runs of all time. Monster to WATTBA is all time. We’re talking song to song from mixtape to mixtape 0 skips. Across 5 project. Kendrick does not clear that with one great album. Just cause y’all refuse to listen to futures discog don’t mean ish. Take kdot d*** out ya ear
