A lot of things wrong with this list but I somehow also don't really know how I would rerank it. Rap is just in a weird state. But if we are talking about the hottest out I would put Don at 1, Travis at 2 and then Ken Carson at 3. Not even artists I like but they feel as they have some motion behind them and not pure nostalgia.

Carti doesn't really feel as current anymore as he used to. Kanye, Drake, Jay Z are just the old guard at this point. They will always be big but are they the hottest out? Not really.

I would put Lupe, Aesop Rock , MF DOOM, Tierra Whack , Lil Simz and many more
