i guess my issue is that both sides seem to not be telling the whole truth about the night - tory cant outside of vague bars because it’s an open case - which leaves us with the question of why meg and her camp aren’t being transparent if the story really goes how we thought it did

they clearly dont want the whole story out there for whatever reason, but they see their narrative is at stake after last night. So they decide to throw a verbal accusation out there - it cant be proven wrong, it can be memed and it gives them something to work with again

That’s how this came across to me and that’s why i have an issue with it - if you dont want to respond directly or tell the full truth that’s fine, just dont also keep going to the media about unprovable shock value details when everyone is starting to see you’re dodging the bigger questions about the night. Don’t forget that everyone was clowning on tory for having his team go to the media earlier rather than responding himself
