Dude has no right being that high on this s***
The one way im familiar w this site is cause of all the newsletter emails that remains unchecked that goes back to the time when they still called Consequence of Sound
Dude has no right being that high on this s***
Kendrick really changed the way these people make lists forever and not in a good way either
Thought this was about the rapper Consequence listing his top 100
Would've been moved to Creative sxn
I class Bowie as more enticing than traditionally talented as a vocalist of course he has a commanding delivery but it feels like 75% about confidence
Bowie couldn't really sing. Same with Bob Dylan

Idk man how many people besides Prince could do what he does around the 60 second mark here
insane range and control

His Wild In The Wind is one of the most powerful vocal performances ever too.
Tom Waits and especially Captain Beefheart have more range than anybody as well (aside from Mariah and Mike Patton) but they just don't sound as pretty
Surprised Consequence didnt have Ye at number one, he owes him a lot
Too consequential for Consequence con
Bowie couldn't really sing. Same with Bob Dylan
It's just a different kind of singing
The goal is to evoke emotion. The fact that he can pull a melody this shattering out of thin air with that voice is even more impressive to me;

hold up just realized no Frank on this
There’s a ton of names that are omitted from this list and it’s mind blowing

Bowie had a lot more sauce than Dylan as far as I’m concerned

i mean the kendrick addition is p headass but for the amount of captivating voices and cadences ive heard him experiment with throughout his career as a rapper.. its not that wild

Bowie was flashier for sure but Dylan just as powerful
