Havent had the opportunity to wear them out yet (arrived yesterday), but not the best first impresions

Which size should I go with? I usually wear 9, idk if I should go with 8 or 8.5

Went 1 size down and they fit perfect
Tbh could’ve went .5 size down as well but I like it when it fits snug
