It might’ve had a beautiful & admirable start, but it sadly turned into a cut-throat closet plutocracy that tricked its cattle-citizens into being born with debt & being patriotic for it, under the guise of “freedom” (whatever the f*** that means in the 21st century).

    "a beautiful and admirable start"

I clearly said “might’ve had”. After all, it was an insurrection against British imperialism. That is beautiful.

Sad that it turned into (and worse) then the very thing it detested.

Obv it was built on the backs of slaves, no ones denying that. All we’re saying is the concept of retaliating against imperialism & self determination was beautiful, point blank.

Everything else went to s*** soon after though, very fkn fast lol

“ -city instead SERVES HER a bill for the POLICE'S DAMAGES”

This... this has to be a joke.

here's what's more insane (forgot to mention this in OP)

She called her insurance company, and she said a special agent told her that there was no coverage for the damage done by police. The company would cover blood cleanup from the suicide.
The city’s insurance company told her that the method was called “Shock and Awe,” an approach used to confuse the individual.
"But he was already dead," Baker responded.
“They have complete immunity to do what they think is best,” Baker said she was told.

THEY BLEW UP HER HOUSE WHEN HE WAS ALREADY DEAD

Well what is the worst they can do if she just doesn’t pay anything? Hurt her credit score? A senior like her probably doesn’t need it. They wouldn’t dare imprison her, the US would throw a fit (Or maybe they wouldn’t idk, Americans are lazy).

I imagine she could start a patron and become a multimillionaire over night, hopefully. Or would the state seize her donations?

I think the problem is the house is unlivable and she has stage 3 cancer. she was already trying to sell the house to make ends meet apparently and the buyer terminated because of this. so its not just a case of the bill being handed to her on its own, it needs to be taken care of regardless because its currently unlivable. I doubt they'd put her in jail or anything but yeah her credit score's gonna tank, even in the article it said she had to max all of her credit cards and credit lines. she's probably going to get bank from suing the city for this luckily but court cases are always drawn out and it's hell she even needs to go through this and has to deal with all the stress and pay for the lawyer on top of all of this.
