    We need to clear this s*** up, Twitter is putting up misinformation on purpose

    Here's the background no one on KTT decided to research into.

    "APD officers had been dispatched to the bus stop near the Walmart on Eubank after receiving calls about a man tossing a gun from hand to hand. Another caller said the man was pointing the gun at the cars passing by."

    No one can tell it's a BB gun even up close because many are replicated exactly.
    This explains perfectly why they rolled up on him like that.

    "One officer fired a 40 mm launcher, striking Schafer in his knee. Police said Schafer grabbed the grip of the gun and began to remove it from his pants."

    As much as I hate the police, I do not condone misinformation or propaganda

    Still tragic nonetheless but it all makes sense now

    I'm sure there were non-lethal ways to handle this given how many cops there were tho

    They shot him with a 40mm rubber bullet, it hit him in the knee.

    Him being drunk he probably had his pain dulled, if that thing hits you on your knee you'd yelp and scream in pain and crumble. I know I would

    There was nothing they could do, homeless people are not all the way there and don't follow commands at all, this was the worst combination

    I have seen a few video's where police ended up talking people out of suicide by cop, seeing that the person was in great distress I doubt they charged him, need to look that up.

    This situation is different.

    Usually that is a barricaded suspect situation, when things can simmer down.

    This was unfolding before their eyes, imo a flash bang would have been effective since he was off guard.
