If not, the most slept on ever. The way I‘ve always seen people in the past try to claim someone like AZ as one of the most underrated rappers kinda applies to Cormega even more than AZ. Truly an underground legend imo, very sharp lyricist, great vocally, has a solid catalog to back him up and an underrated ear for beats too imo. The Realness is an underground classic imo and is honestly very possibly a top 5 album of 2001 if not even better. It’s almost on par with Stillmatic at least in my eyes if not on the same level or even better. The True Meaning is great, The Testament is great, and his MegaPhilosphy album with Large Professor in 2014 to me has become one of my favorite albums to drop that year. Definitely overlooked heavy.
