I've never tried it before but I believe anything is possible after trying chorizo on pizza.
Never had corn but I like alternative toppings on pizza like pineapple. Artichoke hearts underrated too but make it kinda watery. I used to work the oven at a Blaze pizza which is like mod pizza or pizzarev, all those build-your-own type joints where you can load as many toppings for no extra charge
I tried a bunch of different combinations while I was there and the best pizza goes like this:
-thin or gluten-free dough base
-garlic pesto base sauce (we prepped this different than the pesto drizzle u can finish it with at the end), no red sauce
-no extra cheese for me since there is a lot of parmesan in the pesto but you can add shredded mozzarella or fresh ovalini mozzarella
-a thick layer of crumbled bacon, a lot of it literally a layer. optional but maybe one turkey meatball broken up into pieces and sprinkled on top
-sauteed onions
-cook in the back corner of the oven, burn it just a tiny bit
That s*** will come out dripping from the bacon and olive oil in the pesto, more like a flatbread than a pizza but
dining hall at college used to make a flatbread that was really good too, thin slices of potato with rosemary and red onion. Don't remember if it had cheese but if it did might have been goat cheese. So f***ing good, loved going to a stoner school
