If you’ve been feeling drowsy lately it was most likely the 5g wire. Should be ok if you avoid that certain mask

Foreal. S***s really like bringing Donald Trump up at Thanksgiving.

It shouldn’t be a big dramatic deal to ask someone to wear a mask, but it’s gotten so bad that I really don’t say s*** to people anymore bc I really don’t know how’ll they’ll react. I’m just like whatever, the pandemic is over for these people even though it’s still happening.

It's so dumb to politicise a pandemic that affects everybody if we act reckless. And these so called "patriots" who won't "bend to the oppressive mask", have such a skewered view on patriotism that they ignore humanity in the process.

Just had a swab test done. Or, rather, did it to myself. This should only be done by a lab tech because I have no idea if I did it right. It stung and made me want to sneeze but it can't be that bad if you're swabbing your own nose because you'll instinctively be limiting the pain. Whatever.

Someone in my wife's family is really sick with COVID and they saw each other at a thing like 3 weeks ago, but she was wearing a mask. His wife and kid is negative and my wife isn't showing symptoms. Neither am I. It's probably fine, but I just wanted to check to be sure.

Right now I'm going through what I'd call an information detox. I've been dealing with a ton of anxiety since my wife's trip to see her family and had several panic attacks over a couple weeks and now I'm having this derealization hangover of sorts where I'm just really checked out of everything.

I've learned to not get angry at myself for experiencing derealization because it's my brain's way of saying that I'm doing too much and need to pull back. So yeah, I haven't checked the numbers in a couple days, trying to stay off social media as much as I can. Mostly listening to music, doing chores, minding my own business.

Mainly I'm just trying to have a little bit of fun being alive, you know? It can be easy to forget how important that is when s*** is consistently dull, repetitive or bad. I have a bad habit of idly taking in information throughout the day, most of it negative, just reading on my phone all day long. You don't realize how quickly that s*** piles up in your psyche if you don't balance it out with anything.

The other thing is, like, I can't find work. Teachers are being let go, not hired, and there's no plan for extending unemployment. The majority of congress is willing to let us all die. So I have a choice. I can spend my days spamming applications and getting resentful when I don't hear back, or I can take a realistic perspective and make the most of what's in front of me. I can panic about economic fallout or I can be patient.

The reality is that the vast majority of us got robbed. This year got stolen from us. Some of us lost family members. Most of us lost money, or momentum. We should be pissed off and depressed. But with s*** not getting better any time soon, the question becomes how to manage the time we've got. I don't have the answer to that, but I know that it doesn't involve spending all day long reading about the world going to s*** and hating myself.

    Take care of yourselves, everyone.

Theres a chance my brother caught the covid, very likely. Were all gonna get tested in a couple days, but suddenly after 4 months of watching the news and quarantining as best as we can my 72yo diabetic father is acting like this isnt s*** to worry about

It's fatigue breh. You get anxious, then at some point you're like "fuck it, were gonna have to learn to live with this for a while"
And instead of being cautious about it, some people go the opposite direction
