I low key got it a couple of years ago after working out at the gym. Was a regular day at the gym, but I had kind of had small hints that something was a bit off with my sternum/chest. I woke up the next morning with pain in my sternum and feeling horrible. Thought my chest was gonna pop when I sneezed. Went to several doctors, hospitals, they didn’t do much. Only thing that was somewhat of a help was a physiotherapist I went to. Gave me some massage, exercises that would help and she was also great at listening to all my symptoms. Praise her. The thing was messing me up for several months, maybe even more than a year. Prolly the worst thing I’ve had to deal with healthwise. Had me messed up on the daily. Caused pain and made me feel faint. Now that it’s been maybe five years it’s not limiting me on a daily basis but it can still act up a little if I trigger it by pushing my sternum/chest too hard.

Yeah most of the testimonials I see say this never permanently goes away, so to say, you can always reaggravate

It’s so strange to me that so few people get it

They say popping the sternum isn’t good for you but I can’t imagine it’s worse for you than having that tight feeling day in day out
