“The ones that start like, "Drizzy's s*** was cool, but we even"
Man, how the f***?
Two, four, six, eight, watches factoring (factory), so they appreciate
Prime in my hand and I'm really playin' keep-away”
Alright so we have the 2, 4, 6, 8 who do we appreciate play on watches appreciating ie going up in value. Cool.
But the numbers that are going up are all even (play on the “but we even” part the line before) and they’re all FACTORS of presumably a large number (flexing the large amount he has, and double meaning with getting exclusive watches straight from the factory)
If you need a refresher on factors in math: “Factor, in mathematics, a number or algebraic expression that divides another number or expression evenly—i.e., with no remainder. For example, 3 and 6 are factors of 12 because 12 ÷ 3 = 4 exactly and 12 ÷ 6 = 2 exactly. The other factors of 12 are 1, 2, 4, and 12.”
THEN he comes through with “Prime in my hand and I’m really playing keep away,” a prime number being one that doesn’t have any factors except 1 and themself. And obviously he’s saying he’s still in his prime.
Genius has it as “crown” instead of prime but idk I hear prime. This is definitely how I took it, Drake as a mathematical wordplay God.
