These bizarre American identity politics don't work here. Brazil is one of the most diverse and multiethnic countries in the world, that's literally the identity of the nation. Brazil was created and built by people from 4 continents. There were no "colonizers" other than the initial Portuguese men that settled here 522 years ago and founded the country.

I don’t know if you’re fr or not but I’ve heard the terms grote overheid & kleine overheid plenty of times both in school, news articles and on tv. I knew what those terms meant before I was proficient in English.
