This concept isn't strange at all. We already stan and try to find out what celebs are doing 24/7 and that's been going on since celeb culture started centuries ago

Even if you don't think it's good, its still not that crazy when you think about it. A lot of us have thought "what if my whole life is being filmed" or "what if someone is always watching me" so this isn't much different

I just don't see a big difference between making every decision of your day based around trying to optimize yourself for social media compared to being on camera 24/7 I guess.

Like it's already batshit insane to me that some people curate their whole existence for social media. From a normal life to that is a bigger leap than that to 24/7 Livestream imo.

24/7 Livestream would actually be more humanizing compared to the weird endless highlight reel life some people try and display on sm.

You said it yourself, the big difference is that you can edit a livestream so it would be more humanizing.

Imagine they livestream your birth and then that camera follows you for the rest of your life until you die

    Lmfaoo hell nah..

    start streaming op

Who’s weirder, the person live-streaming themselves or whoever’s watching the livestream it would be interesting to be like 60 yrs old and have every living minute of yourself stored on the cloud before you turnt 60.(for personal use of course)

I’d do this for a day it would be a fun experience. Not in my own house though like a test facility or something

“I wonder what Kanye is doing right now?”

Imagine one day you can just tune into the nonstop livestream of your fave celeb at any point during the day.

Capitalism will eventually supply that demand.

And then it’s just not celebs, but any human being.

The comments on your livestream will eventually replace your thoughts and determine every single decision of your life.

Which makes it less appealing when curated highlight reels all the rage

wouldn’t do it, black mirror getting too close to reality

  • Aug 24, 2020

Privacy concept was never an argument cause in reality, nobody cares about y’all’s life like that lmao.
