Hear me out,not trying to sound like an advertisement but I’ve been using this service called Xite ever since Wednesday and even though we have so many avenues now to watch music videos with, this service feels old and new at the same time.

It gives me that since of discovery old music channels use to give me back in the day plus the lay back and chill factor. But the main thing I like about it that makes it feel new is that your able to create your channels mixing up genres, years and types of performances while also being able to skip videos at will and like videos where it saves into a personal playlist so you can go back and watch said video anytime.(Let me also add that it seems like older videos from the early 2000’s and 90’s are in better quality than their youtube counterparts)

Like idk,the concept is simple but it doesn’t look like too many services are doing this. Like what if Apple took this idea or even Tidal, would it interest people and help people discover smaller indie acts/different types of music just by watching video channels again. Could personalized music channels become a thing? Idk but I’ve been f***ing with it so far,you can only discover so much yourself.

Not exactly the same but I guess, this is an actual 24hr music channel you can create yourself and you can create a playlist while watching it

That’s cool,I just like the idea of this service and the since of discovery just watching videos bring since I don’t follow music like I use to.

I would kinda assume these days that people who want to step out of their bubble actively try and do so, and people who don’t probably wouldn’t be interested in this 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Never really been into music videos so maybe just not for me but I don’t really see the selling point behind this that would make it worth a subscription cost ?

Nah,it’s really like watching a music video channel except your able to control every aspect of it. I’m def not selling a product,I just really think the idea works. You can only find as much music as your mind let’s you tbh.

    There’s other ways

I believe this is just something that fills a very specific niche but it’s cool nonetheless. I think VEVO tried to do something very similar to this at one point but it wasn’t no where near as good as this.

VEVO’s algorithm would just play the same s*** over and over most of the time.
