32 GB RAM with GTX 970 ☠️ you're getting the most out of that card loll. I would try sticking with it until you find a good deal on a new card, but it's probably time for an upgrade if you want to play modern games. In the current year onwards you're probably going to have to play games at lower settings/potato mode (if available), unfortunately a lot of the good "budget" cards from that time period are finally starting to struggle with performance no matter how low the settings.

3060ti seems like a decent choice

Yep, personally I would try to shark a used one from FB marketplace or eBay, if you want to pay a bit less for similar performance look into the 2070 a well. Cards in that range + 32GB Ram + your processor and you'll be set for a while imo
