It’s not an inferiority complex. My favorite rapper is Kanye. It’s just annoying people on here demeaning music and casting it aside like it’s less than or accusing the artist of just making music for money. Like you know what’s in the artists heart. that s***s so pretentious bruh

they make the same songs over and over and only consider making what would be commercially successful or acceptable to casual audiences lol

That’s making music as a hustle

Then Niggas don’t rap about s***

Kanye openly admitted he was just trying out his int to fit in with backpack rap at the time

And yeah being modest isn’t what I’m talking about I’m talking bout out the mud music fr why limit to those 4 ppl anyway

All it took for hip-hop to get back on top was a cultural event that shut out opium/rage rappers completely. Nobody was checking for Nettspend, Yeat or Ken Carson's opinions on the beef. But keep telling us they're the future

All it really took was songs with pop appeal. Something Brave has been saying for years. Stop trying to be niche and look cool; instead, have a bunch of melodic quotables that dominate the zeitgeist.
