i feel like they didn't get danny in a booth for this, just really had him in the mic freehand. the discrepancy between how crisp peggy sounds & how danny feels a little dodgy at times is kinda jarring. at times it sounds great though,

I saw the clips, danny just supine in a hotel bed with the Shure SM76 or whatever isn't the best recording environment lmao, but yeah, peggy might not have put the proper care in making sure his sat right in the mix, there's always a lot going on. but i feel like we didnt have this problem with danny on ae or other sort of out there production

About the 5th listen of LBP I had that same thought. Dannys voice must be a nightmare to mix.

Not saying this in a bad way at all though. Love Dannys voice. I like some rough, raw sounding s*** too. Sometimes it can be more visceral.
