You can tell when Danny is mixed correctly, like on burfict! because the beat is very busy but you can still clearly hear danny

But overall it feels intentional when it’s hard to hear them, they’re going for a grungy/dirty sounding mix

Yeah, he said he was drunk & high for most of the sessions. Just the other day when he performed at SXSW he talked about going in & taking the funds for the performance & putting it towards that. He quit on Dip like a quarter way through because it was too much for him. He's afraid that he won't have anything interesting to write about without substance abuse, which is wrong

The synths in Lean Beef Patty remind me of When it Rain, it's still crazy that the entire beat for that was pretty much made in 1968 by the lady who made the Dr. Who theme, see 0:57 here
