Idk why people were writing this off so quickly, I've thought it's looked promising since I saw the characters in costume

Previous trailers seemed to make it look like they were neutering the material to make it palatable for western audiences. The charm and anime excess looked to be reduced. This trailer is the first one that actually changed my mind on that. It looks like a 70’s exploitation movie set in space.

I remember him being important to the plot.. u know if this is an adaptation or new story. Looks pretty similar so far

they described it as more of a continuation than a shot by shot remake however I noticed in the trailer quite a few characters who died in the anime series so I think it'll be its own story in a lot of ways but weave in those familiar characters and stories from the anime as well...considering this one is a series as well maybe Ed doesn't show up until the end and will play a bigger role next season if they get one

I wont lie, this trailer satisfied me. Production quality is high, some scenes were very well done, its gonna be fun. Obviously whether its just decent or actually good will depend on how they'll handle some of the most iconic scenes, but im way more optimistic than i was just a few weeks ago

I was complaining about Faye but the actress seems to have the attitude/personality down. And she is cute I just wish the color of her outfits were more similar to the show

It looks like s***. Everything is bland, extremely flat, like a 2012 fan made trailer. Except those trailers were made by passionate people, not by rich opportunistic hacks.
