The casting is actually solid

You don't see anime niggas saying they wanna make a anime version of the godfather or any other show for that matter. They need to stop this s***, it never ends well. There hasn't ever been a good live-action movie that trumped or was even just GOOD. Like history tells us that this s*** doesn't really do much and yet Hollywood can't seem to keep their hands off. Same goes with the Disney remakes, if they really wanted to show the films to every new generation of kids, the best thing they could do would be to re-release the original animated films instead of giving us rubbish remakes that only exist to disrespect the source material imo.
Mar 16, 2021Live action anime is stupid, but if you're gonna make an adaptation of one this is probably the least stupid one you could attempt (assuming you ignore the very grounded in reality stuff.) Hoping it fails though.

Again, watanabe is involved so there isn’t really any reason to feel hostile about it. If it sucks then it’ll simply dissipate into the ether. It doesn’t change anything about the source material regardless

They've always made live action adaptations of anime s*** in japan. Just not international and high like that
