Their latest single "please yourself" is easily the best song I've heard this year and they've been slowly getting better and better and also more and more polished and accessible. I first heard of the band at Hedi Slimane's second Celine show where a runway-tailored version of their 2018 song "Philosopher's Calling" and I've been hooked since. Expect their second studio album Tough Baby, releasing 8/1, to receive some serious fanfare cuz they are f***in crazy.
Cool song. Music video is a bit much. Not sure I can deal with that lead vocalist much.
Crack cloud
thanks for putting me on OP, now I know what band name to say when I wanna impress the girls with blue hair even tho I don’t care bout this type of music

video is awful lmfao
It's definitely not aiming at our demographic lol.
the video kinda takes away from how fire the song is honestly s*** is giving very art school tryhard vibes but the backstory of the video is crazy. lead singers dad died of terminal leukemia when he was like 28 or something like that and the video is about how his room was like his safe space/altar type of thing after his dad suddenly died. something like that
lucki better

Can't say I got that out of it. Love the female choir part of the song though. Def evens out that campy vocalist
just checked my spotify liked their song drab measure but i dont really dig this please yourself one.. sounds pompous af
There's not a bigger red flag than tool
well there is ONE
yea Drab Measure is hard
i love them. I think there's been some amazing bands to drop this year...Beach House, Big Thief, The Smile, Black Country New Road etc etc but I think the Crack Cloud record is gonna be the best of the bunch.
Being a tad hyperbolic but I haven't seen any other artist with the energy like I felt in that second vid tbh... especially on the first song
U said tool? I do NOT trust u
What don’t you like about them? Lateralus is arguably a perfect album regardless of how you feel about their fans.
