Street Rapper: I grew up in the streets and sold d**** and fought for my life
Bigot Rapper: Gay guys got AIDs
KTT2 User: Same thing
Rapper: raps about ignorant s*** (killing, misogyny, selling d****) and shows he’s a fool
You: he’s cool!
Rapper: makes homophobic comment
You: NOW WAIT A DAMN MINUTE
You having a good ass time and not responding to the other logical arguments people are making.

My nigga, I was already debating like 8-9 hours ago. I have multiple posts itt laying out my stance. You literally quoted one of my posts from the middle of an argument earlier
You think I’m finna keep debating this topic all day until the thread gets locked? And respond to every nigga in here? I’m on my way to a picnic rn

Putting a lot of words in my mouth with this one, chief
it’s the point you brought up.
you made it seem as if those guys had it easy in comparison to DaBaby. both those guys and DaBaby are being heavily scrutinized and their pockets are being affected because they went even further beyond the general normal bounds of violence and homophobia that hip-hop has accepted.
1. Rappers not being able to perform is not a point i bought up, all i did was remind that other dude of ‘Who I Smoke’
2. No one gets punished for going “beyond the normal bounds”(they dont exist). Its about behind the scenes politics more than anything. For example Thug has said numerous homophobic things but is getting all the love in the world rn
I'm talking in the lyrics, not as much in the real world. The Gay Mafia clearly doesn't care if a n!gga raps about turning up, shooting, thots. They DANCE to the s***. But somehow Da Baby going on that stage saying what he said is more offensive to them. All hypocrites. They can suck a glass d***.
The Gay Mafia picks and chooses its battles. It is what it is.
"The Gay Mafia"
Crine now the DaBaby Defenders are on the same level as wine moms crying on camera while reading Vince Staples lyrics

I went through the pages. You lost the debates nigga! I saw that s***!
Putting a lot of words in my mouth with this one, chief
Just like your “KTT: same thing” comment
Just like your “KTT: same thing” comment
KTT2 users have repeatedly used that argument.
Your post is just slander lol.
I went through the pages. You lost the debates nigga! I saw that s***!
My nigga how I lose the debate?
Also you claiming I lost but still feel the need to engage in a debate like 9 hours after the fact?
Black men in the hood can’t realistically oppress black men from the hood bro it’s bigger than that. The same system that forces poverty and harm on people of color is the same system that harms gay people.
This is wild to say, White gay people still benefit from white privilege, something black gay people don’t have the luxury to it’s not the same

People asking why draw the line at homophobia when rappers are rapping about a whole bunch of other harmful s***? Where’s the outrage with that? You can’t call out one thing and not call out the other
You guys are all exclusively listening to KRS-One or what? I’ve never seen so many people vehemently protest violence and sexual imagery in rap lyrics here
rewards provocation and irreverence with wealth and fame
"Geez, I hope these celebrities don't have disgusting worldviews."
My nigga how I lose the debate?
Also you claiming I lost but still feel the need to engage in a debate like 9 hours after the fact?
“ So you are saying that an artist’s upbringing justifies him promoting “violence” but that the same environment of being hyper masculine shouldn’t lend him to have homophobic views? If that’s your stance, it’s very selective”
You stopped responding after that. He shut you down early on my nigga. Then you just started replying in support to people regurgitating your same old thoughts, even after those arguments had already been dismantled
These rappers can realistically oppress gay people?
By spreading homophobic nonsense and implying gay men have HIV etc. yes because gay people literally get killed for being gay.
And before you compare this to black people killing each other saying that’s oppression which is lowkey that black on black crime bullshit white people kill each other for the same s*** in their neighborhoods.

This outrage didn't start with something he said in a song. So you're already wrong. People have been way more lenient with the art. Controversy and transgression and subversiveness are "cool" in media. It's a portal to the forbidden. It's our repressed desires and violent urges we stymie with our moralism. It's cathartic and freeing. Plenty of people can do that without being a bigot.
Now, real world violence is bad. We all agree on that. We should also agree it stems from poor material conditions and is only reflected back to us in art. Bigotry can also be said to stem from poor material conditons, and other sources like religion, but there is a key difference. Tons of people make great art about violence. What's the last piece of great art about bigotry? The movie Zola is great. I can't think of much music. DMX or Pop Smoke drop a bigoted line, but that isn't why the song itself is good.
But yeah, none of this matters. Baby will keep being Baby. People are mad at him online. You're mad at people mad at him online. You are choosing to spend your time on this.
This is wild to say, White gay people still benefit from white privilege, something black gay people don’t have the luxury to it’s not the same
Is white privilege gay privilege too? Does white privilege protect them from being killed for being gay?

Why are you expecting so much from these rappers though?? “You get a pass for talking about killing, selling d****, and all this other s*** but PLEASE don’t talk about gay people because they’re being oppressed!” That’s how you sound

White gay privilege is a thing Educate yourself if you really care

My nigga I stopped responding because I laid out my argument perfectly and he still doesn’t GET it. So it’s basically talking in circles.
Stop responding =\= losing you f***ing bozo I’d still be arguing with that nigga 9 hours later just like your ass is responding now.
Keep in mind that one side of this argument is literally defending homophobia so is that really what you’re trying to “win” here.

Is it Dababy fault that America created and forced people into a community where this exists?
I’m not expecting anything but rapping about the lifestyle you set up to be in vs having a choice to say what he did or not are not the same thing.
