Yea it's really f***ed. I never even considered this until my girlfriend told me.

I'm scared of empty cars at night so I walk extra fast sometimes on the side-walk (i used to run even though it was 6pm)
I also rush up the stairs because of horror movies. Yet everyone knows that the probability of getting slashed by a stranger in your house at 3am is close to 0.
There are alot of fears that are irrational that people have due to being conditioned at one point in their lives. It's not traumatic, I laugh at how stupid I can be sometimes.
Pretending that men don't have any is actually dangerous to the whole "men should open up more rhetoric" bit what do I know.
