People keep asking me how to do it so here - I recommend reading this but if you don't have the time I'll make it simple

If you would like to create without running it locally you can do so thru google colab. This is the one I like to use. It's in spanish but any translator plugin should work. I recommend getting colab pro for $10 / month but you can use it fine without it

Once you're in it's pretty simple

1. Run all the cells in order, you can change any parameter you would like including which model database to pull from but the default one I've found is the best and most diverse. Different models will obviously give you different results

2. Change "a fantasy world" to whatever you would like

(you can enter multiple keywords by spacing them out with a "|" like Born Sinner | Classic Album)
(you can also request the art to be in the specific style of a certain artist)

3. Seeds are in my understanding basically just different variations of how the AI will go about the creation, and target images are self explanatory. To use a target image you will have to upload it to the file directory directly.

There's not much info out right now about this specific tool yet but as it grows there should be more breakdowns. I think I'm going to use it for some cover art and things, it's fun to toy around with

AI artwork looks like s*** and is lacking- most people know this and when they find out it's AI derived usually have nothing nice to say about it. Mainly because it's pretty obvious what AI artwork looks like- it doesn't look real or crafted and looks... well looks like some computer generated soulless s***

But for the purpose you're using it for, I don't think all that really matters.

There will always be a market for artists.

Yeah I don't think it will ever kill off artists but lets be honest, it's nowhere near as good as it's going to be. And when it does get to that point, no man is going to be able to compete with a computer that has UNLIMITED knowledge and references at its disposal. The computers will prevail

Idk bout you but I can easily tell all of those are computer generated.

The software just isn't advanced enough to replicate human imperfections, too symmetrical, using too many copy pasted parts that smear together. Doesn't understand colors yet. Some of the parts don't even finish they just kinda fade out- like that would be cool IF someone intentionally painted it as a motif but since it's AI it's just kinda scary.

Eventually it might get good but now it's like ugly. It's manufactured and easy to tell. Like you can tell some s*** made on a computer to hang on a wall in an office vs something hand crafted.
