I wanna create music. Not sure where to start..I wrote lyrics all the time. Not sure where to get beats or anything like that. Wanna get into production as well. If anybody has any tips or anything. artist type beats are a good place to start.

an audio interface for $100 or a used one is a good start. Studio One has an audiobox that comes with the intro software.

i love fl studio idk if that would work for you.

everybody got they own vibes when it comes to daws i say try em all out until you find something you actually like producing on.
