Hold your answers about NYC /LA I don’t have the money to move there and live in those areas.

Basically I’m a artist. Mainly a painter/drawer but everyone else locally know me as a photographer .

living in Stl is the root cause of my depression. Not really much people here that share the same creative mindset, and the ones that do are just stick around mainly within their click.

I have a plan for selling my work but that starts with galleries I’m more interested in a gallery presence rather than online/SM.

Rn I’m looking at Houston, it’s way more diverse than Saint Louis and have the creative pockets where I can achieve growth.

Anyone have any other recommendations where I can thrive around other artists. Again NYC/LA are not on the table

If you're willing to move to the north, I would say Montreal isn't a bad option

Lower cost of living than most major cities + culturally vibrant from what I could tell when I went there

STL fam I lived in Bridgeton and all throughout O’fallon, St. Peters and St. Charles really all across the county

I haven’t lived there in a long ass time, but it felt like a dying city when I left tbh crime and poverty was ridiculous

I’d say Portland, but cost of living might be out of your ballpark price of living wise unless you want to work two jobs

Yeah crime is still ridiculous. Think I seen the news where a guy and woman were arguing on chambers and the dude straight up shot and killed the girl in broad daylight, I seriously need to get away from this city born and raised but I need to leave

I would build a solid audience online through every social media outlet. Go through reddit, they're more likely to buy stuff.
