Heard the door open and my parents' and grandmother's voices from downstairs when I was home alone as a kid, thought they'd come in from work, hear my grandmother saying 'That's not the real one', they don't come upstairs. 20 minutes later they actually come home for real, it sounded exactly like them

Really bizarre but I chalk it up to a weird auditory hallucination, haven't had any before or since tho, and I wasn't doing/eating anything unusual beforehand

Just watching TV, Adventure Time I think, either way I just sat on the sofa, I remember not being scared, but I definitely didn't want to go downstairs and investigate, I had a sort of 'sit still and wait it out' feeling, because the stuff I heard my Grandmother saying was really weird, I wish I could remember all of it but it was along the lines of my mother not being the real version of her

Had some Silent Hill psychological s*** happening the house back in high school. Was seeing s*** that wasn't there approaching me at 90 miles per hour. Ran out the house screaming.

Before. I don't know if I really talked to her. Till this day I don't know if she calling me was part of my dream. Technically, she was dead by the morning when she "called". I was probably dreaming

Once, there was no power in my room, and there was moonlight outside. This is late at night, and I so I sat up, frightened as s***, because ahead of me was the main window of my bedroom. The drapes would then slowly morph into a figure that was slowly making its way towards me.

The craziest part was that I felt a hand pressed against my chest while all this was happening. Couldn't move a muscle. There's sleep paralysis, then this bullshit

Home alone watching tv, sitting on the couch getting ready to go to school. I go to brush my teeth and I see this tall figure in jeans and white tee with cut off sleeves standing in hallway, as if he was waiting for me. I f***ing ran out to house. Looking back it could have been possible someone that broke in but I’m certain in was some sort of spirit or apparition. My last experience with the paranormal. If I was getting chased by a coalition of starved tigers and murderous shotgun carrying neo-nazis it wouldn’t equal how terrified I was that day.

Oh, another thing I just remembered:

Twice, our back garden has had some creepy ritual performed in it seemingly. Awoken on two different occasions to find a fox skull, placed on a sort of rock altar, surrounded by burnt out candles and coins.

I live near woods and I would always hear like kids screaming at 3am and it always freaked me out

I’m from a small town in West Virginia as preface for this

But I was on vacation with my friend (We’ll call him Dalton) at 13 in Tennessee and while walking back to the hotel from Burger King someone in a car yelled out the window at us ‘TYLER!!!! (Me) DALTON!!!!’ and then they kept driving

Still have no f***ing idea who that person was and that was over half my life ago lmao

One time when I stayed at a cabin at some ski resort off season with my grandma, I was in a bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping alone. My suitcase was on the other bed with all my clothes.

At some point deep in the night, I’m on my phone and my back is turned to the other bed and I hear something shuffling through my suitcase. I’m thinking it’s grandma’s French bulldogs so I think nothing of it and go to sleep. The next day, I jokingly tell my grandma that her dog Teddy was in my suitcase last night. She pauses and says, ‘Teddy sleeps with me all night and the door is closed, he didn’t come in your room?’ wtf was in my suitcase

So one time me and my younger brother was messing around kinda play fighting and s***

The room was really dim cos we only had like a lamp on

My mum said something like “stop messing around before something bad happens”

But obviously we carried on

Then as we were fighting and suddenly this like pentagram of what looked like salt appeared in front of us and then disappeared we both freaked out and then ran upstairs to my mum

I tell her what happened but then my brother starts denying he ever saw it, which doesn’t make sense cos he also got freaked out

I think what might’ve happened was I got lightheaded and saw them white dots you see sometimes but I still can’t explain how my brother looked in the same spot and also got freaked out

I don’t wanna ask his cos I don’t wanna freak him out Lmao

i don't necessarily find it creepy but my mom often knows things will happen before they do

funny thing about it is she's super sceptical of everything supernatural and she claims this ability is just regular intuition. well call me crazy but i really don't think "intuition" alone can tell you when someone is going to die, when and where there will be an accident or which random person will make an unexpected visit lol

This one is recent, a few months ago, most days I'd wake up and hear scratching at the back of my headboard, like there was some creature behind my bed, I never mentioned it to anybody since it was so weird, just froze up and ignored it when it'd happen, I checked under my bed, nothing unusual, but it sounded exactly like a raccoon or something was back there, I'd just carry about my day thinking I had some terrifying mystery creature under my bed every morning and putting it to the back of my mind

I eventually realised that some birds were nesting in the gutter right above my bedroom and the sound carried through the wall lol
