MK2/potemkine released it, Mosfilm 4K resto. not english friendly tho. milestone was supposed to drop it last year yeah

I think most mosfilm restorations have been scanned in 2K cause of the state of the negative/film elements. Not even mirror or stalker were scanned in 4K.

Any of you guys got the Bergman Cinema boxset?

Does the case scratch discs?

I have it and no i havent experienced that. But then again, there's like 30 discs in it and im not exactly taking them in and out constantly. Ive mever had any of the discs have an issue playing tho

Just not a fan of discs housed in books/up against flat surfaces rather than on trays.

I'm interested in getting the boxset, but i don't want to drop that much money and have discs scratched.

Well ive never heard of anything like that happened with the set, and if your discs arrived scratched they will refund you/replace it for free

I think there’s a problem with discs being scratched when it was first released iirc. I owned one since 2019 and never got any disc scratches on mine. If there’s one you can refund or replace it.

idk about the ingmar set but the fellini pizza box had a gang of copies where discs were scratched on arrival. only thing I really heard about the ingmar box was either missing or wrong disc during early print really

Main thing about Bergman's is the totally random order so annoying

They won't be scratched and the amount of money you'll save getting them all in one set is ridiculous
