they f***ed up one line on the criterion portrait of a lady on fire subtitles, not a huge deal but it’s probably my favorite scene in the movie

Have you seen any? Most of the material is blind buying for me. Only seen Woman Under the Influence for Cassavetes (but that’s bc I was holding out for this set), After Life, Onibaba, & the First Lady Snowblood

any wenders film is PACKED with extras, outtakes and commentaries. the best are probably the outtakes with commentary tracks. (paris, texas, wings of desire, until the end of the world). fun to hear why they didn't make final cut etc

I don’t own many pre-40s films but I love the older style so I’m looking forward to this. Might watch stuff from that collection first before moving to the other discs. Still a blind buy so there’s some risk involved, but not gonna lie- that black midi Dietrich shoutout from their album pushed things over the edge for me
